Even though Jersey Shore is over (sad face) - people are still talking about (from left) Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammie, Vinnie, Snooki, JWoww, and The Situation. According to the New York Post, the cast is demanding $10,000 per episode to come back for a Season Two. Reportedly they were paid only "hundreds" per episode for Season One.
I say give it to them. Love 'em or hate 'em, the Jersey Shore kids had people talking like no MTV show in a long time. In fact, the Guidos and Guidettes from "Down the Shore" have reminded MTV that the stars of The Hills were reportedly paid $100,000 per episode. And The Hills doesn't rate nearly as high as Jersey Shore did.
THIS JUST IN: The Duck Phone, however, is holding out for [inserting pinky finger to side of mouth] "ONE MILLION DOLLARS" per episode. That fierce Biatch should get it - she was the real star of the show...
And, lastly, I KNEW there was a reason (besides the big guns) why Ronnie (below) was my favorite Jersey Shore dude. When Ronnie was picked up by police over the summer for assault, he was arrested under the name "Ronnie Ortiz". Word on Teh Interwebz is that Papi Ronnie is half Puerto Rican (his mother's side). Works for me...

I think it's hilarious that the show's original intent was to make fun of them and their way of life, but now they have changed the course of action and made themselves reality stars.
I'll give Ronnie some action, but the others can go
We are so missing out on something, I just can't figure out what it is...
the main reason i watch that show is that it reminds me of the people i hated in high school and exactly why i hated them. . .
plus it makes for great drinking game fodder!

I think ummmmmm...I can't really say because Teleom has soooo much money(because of US)that who really wcares about the exploitation of such stereotypical shows...Ya'll keep watchin...(reference to my brother who likes the show)...I just now realized that there were fine men on the show...WORD UP to the THICK ITALIAN brothers...
you know, i don't have cable tv -- good thing otherwise i'd be watching tv all day -- so i only watch these trashy shows when i go to my parents' house. yesterday i was there and i saw a little bit of JS, and you know what, these boys may have nice bodies but they are BUTT UGLY in my opinion, specially the situation and pauly. puke.
i watched more of frank the entertainer. now, he is a hottie, although ultimately he's a douchie loser too (he has to be, to go on that awful i love NY show..., they were all losers to want that trashy skank).
Maybe we need a Dust Bunny reality show. Not really!
But doesn't "The Hills" have ACTORS and a SCRIPT?? The Jersey Shore kids (not really kids, as Mike "The Situation" is 27) are not actors and do not have to follow a script or stage blocking like ACTORS do.
P.S. Snooki will be covering the red carpet at Sunday's Grammys.
