With Make Me A Supermodel still on, and The Fashion Show premiering tomorrow, I'm having a bit of a dilemma.
Since I cannot afford a DVR (hell, I don't know how much longer I'll have CABLE), I must stay home on Wednesday and Thursday nights to watch MMASM and TFS. I have to see each show twice in order to take accurate notes - so that's two hours of television viewing for each show (keeping me up until midnight or later). Then it takes me anywhere from 3 to 5 hours to actually write each recap ... yeah, I know sometimes it doesn't show. In addition, I spend 1 to 2 hours each night preparing and posting my NORMAL posts for the next day. That's a lot of time sitting in front of the TV and/or computer and not having a life. It's like having another job and getting paid zero dollars an hour for my efforts. Even though it's a "job" I absolutely love.
I made a promise to myself after recapping both Project Runway and Shear Genius simultaneously that I would NEVER do it again - and I need to stick to my guns.
So, which one do you think I should recap? Should I continue with Supermodel and then go over to The Fashion Show when it finishes in a few weeks? Should I give up on MMASM all together? What if I despise TFS after the first episode? And doesn't that Top Chef Super Duper All Star Edition start soon also?
Keep in mind that I will STILL miss some episodes of whatever I chose - it happens - but I'd like to hear what you think.

Personally, for me, i want you to recap every show that's on TV all day all the time always.
But since I know that i can't always get what i want, I'd prefer a little Fashion Show recap. I think they'll be more drama and more wackjobs to tell us about.
MMASM doesn't have any craziness, really.
I vote for The Fashion Show. And *only* if it captures your interest.
I think you should finish MMASM and then go to the Fashion show. But any show you choose will be fun for us to read!

It's up to you, but MMASM hasn't held any of my attention since I realized there is not enough shirtless Tyson Beckford on that show to justify giving up hours of my life to watch whiny models. Yes, it's TRUE.
But as always, it's YOUR blog....
You know, I could go either way. I LOVE your recaps but MMASM this season is kind of a slam dunk with Jonathan and there isn't even any Bronnie drama to keep things interesting. I'm kind of counting on Isaac Mizrahi to add some zing to TFS so maybe I'm leaning in that direction.
And David, when I win the lottery I'll get you that DVR. I'm with Bob, recaps of everything are what you should be doing all day every day.
MMASM is boring. Take the gamble on TFS being better.
I say, follow your BLISS!!! Since you have to invest SOOOOO much time into this monetaryless endeavor do what you enjoy.

Although I am watching MMaS, I realize it is not as riveting as I'd hoped, and will likely pale in comparison to 'The Fashion Show' (such a clever title!!) with the wacky, OCD, but adorable hot mess Isaac Mizrahi. So I say stick with MMaS until 'The Fashion Show' starts.

I'm for Fashion Show. Recapping Isaac Mizrahi alone would be a full-time job.
I say see how you like The Fashion Show and if it lives up to its drama filled potential stick with that!
We all know sexy-pants Jonathan should and will win MMASM, so I think we can just drool over him while we read your fabulous recaps of TFS :)
Even though I really like MMASM, you can never go wrong with bitchy designers.
A very brief recap of MMASM is all is what is needed.
I think that moving to the Fashion Show is the right thing to do. Do you not think that Isaack Mizrahi will not deliver plenty of tidbits to discuss. Plus I agree that MMASM is already over with Jonathon a clear fav. Whichever you chose I will read it. Love you.
thanks for even asking! i like jenm's follow your bliss ... and then i say somewhat selfishly ... the fashion show - i mean, who's MOSTEST witty-ever blog posts will i link to for my blog hunting & gathering?! ... and maybe you can just do "speed recaps" as you wean off MMASM. perhaps challenge yourself with a haiku MMASM recap or something. whichever you choose, i'll always be by your side!!!
