Earth Hour: 8:30 - 9:30 PM

A few of my Dust Bunny Bloggers have posted information about Earth Hour - which I never heard of until this year.

The people behind Earth Hour urge everyone around the world to turn off their lights between 8:30 and 9:30 PM. Last year 50 million people participated in this worldwide demonstration against global warming. For more information, click HERE.

So tonight at 8:30 PM, in whatever time zone you may be in, switch off your lights and chill out by candlelight. Mother Earth will appreciate it.

I didn't know about this, either. Wouldn't that be neat to watch the waves of darkness from time zone to zone if everyone did this?

I remember hearing about this last year after it had occured.

We did it this year and it was kinda fun. I love candlelight anway, and it was neat to think about all the people doing the same thing at the same time.
